     Couldn't Believe It! - Jun 06, 2010

Of all the markers that I have bought in the past that said "WASHABLE", they were up to a point, there was always that telltale shadow. Not these, they actually washed off my floor, table & wall, 3 different surfaces. I will always keep these markers in my house for my grandchildren & visitors to use...They are the BEST!

WASHABLE and FUN for my 4-year-old - May 14, 2010

I, too, was skeptical about a MARKER with claims it could be washed out of clothing. But I am very happy to report that Crayola's claim is true! My 4-year-old son loves using markers, but he doesn't always think about what he's doing with his hands when the cap of the marker is off (i.e. wiping his nose, scratching an itch on his leg, etc.) -- as you can imagine, he ends up with marker in many places other than paper. Thankfully, it washes off of skin fairly easily too. The markers are also easily wiped off of our dining room table. He is never allowed to use them unsupervised, however -- as I don't necessarily want to test the markers' washability from the walls... :)

     Clean-up is easy & they lasted a Long time - May 11, 2010

These Markers are Washable. Exactly as printed on the box, Exactly as Advertised. The Markers easily clean from little hands and from the clothes.
    They colors are Bright.
The Markers are durable. The Markers are capped regularly after each use and they have lasted without drying up for nearly a year. I just bought additional sets of these Washable Markers to replace the existing set (a few markers are drying up now after a year of use). We also bought sets for her little friends from daycare.
Our little girl has been using these since she was 15 months old. She has a Cardboard Tray (the cardboard bottom that comes with a case of bottled water). The Markers & the paper or coloring book stay in the Cardboard Tray. The tray is on the floor or on the table (not the sofa, not the bed, not walking around the house...).
I can say we have had No experience with coloring Walls, furniture, Pets, etc. It is not so difficult now to avoid the Markers wandering around the house. The Markers stay in the Tray or they are taken away. If she can't keep them in the tray, she plays with something else.

Yes, it really will wash out of your child's clothes - Apr 08, 2010

My daughter is not exactly the color-inside-the-lines type, so she gets pretty covered in color. And it always comes out - every last bit.

Washable? Anything that does not fit in the machines is doomed. AVOID - Feb 28, 2010

Bought these markers because of their washable claim, assuming that it meant they would come off walls and wood easily. The term "washable" however turns out to be a matter of SEMANTICS. As the fine print disclaimer on the back shows, those 'trusted' Crayola peeps only guarantee that it will come out of your kid's *clothing*:

    QUOTE:
"STAIN ADVISEMENT: Keep away from wallpaper, painted walls, finished and unfinished wood, vinyl, carpeting and other materials that cannot be laundered."

Alas I found this out too late and the product has caused hundreds of dollars in damage. Her piccolo desk is ruined, as are two once pure white toy chests and various puzzles. The wall in her rooms looks terrible too. So... until your kid is "wall- and furniture-trained" (4+?) I'd say: AVOID AT ALL COST.

Great For the Budding Artists - Feb 04, 2010

This was a gift for a young grandson who loves to color beyond anything else! These markers are great because they live up to their name...they are washable! Grandson and his mom are both happy!

     I love them - Dec 06, 2009

I love these markers, and so do my children! They work great. They've lasted quite a long time. I'm impressed.

They're fat, so they are easy for little hands to hold and color with.

The colors are real and bold.

Above all that, they're washable. Can't beat that!

Great, does what it says! - Oct 16, 2009

When buying something that says washable, I'm usually the skeptic. But since these were required by our school, I bought them and was pleasantly surprised. Kindergartners have a way of attracting stains sometimes and this just washed out like a dream. Can't say enough good about them - the only complaint is that they dry out somewhat quickly. Other than that, highly recommend!
